This is a new shape for the rams who are the happiest and the most colorful in a densely planted community aquarium. They enjoy about a six inch space with flat rock and some sort of shelter if you want to see some eggs from these guys. It is said that the males have a longer, a more pointed fin than the female. I have seen these guys live with tetra's and bala sharks in a peaceful non-territorial way. They prefer the ph around 6.8 and little caves.

I found it entertaining that our little guy lived with a flounder in our 100gal tank, and every day it seemed like he had only seen it for the first time.
