Here is a list of things to be aware of when you suspect there is something wrong in the fish tank. As horrible as it sounds, it is better to take out a sick fish than to let the disease kill the rest of the fish in the tank. All it takes is an unattended dead fish to be nibbled on by other fish and contract the parasite or disease. Understanding that everyone can not afford a "sick tank" at the ready, some sacrifices will have to be made.
